extend learning space from the classroom to real-life situations and to
provide students with authentic experience so that they grasp knowledge,
skills, attitudes and values that are essential to all-round development,
the school has set aside 9th September 2011 as Life-wide Learning Day

S1 students, teachers of the Guidance Team have organized a whole-day
programme on Adventure-based Team Building, the objectives of which
are to boost students’ confidence as well as to enchance their
ability in communication, teamwork and problem solving.

In
the morning session, the students had the Voluntary Service Training
organized by the Extra-curricular Activities & Services Committee.
It aims to raise students’ awareness of care, compassion and
commitment to service.
Afternoon
Session
Venue: Auditorium
In
the afternoon session, the students attended a programme on Hearing
Impairment and watched a drama on "Carre For Hearing-impaired
People".

the morning session, the students had the Goal Setting Workshop,
a workshop conducted by Ms. Florence Wu, a member of Hong Kong Association
of Careers Masters and Guidance Masters. It aims to promote high
aspirations, and a goal-directed, reflective life.

In
the afternoon session, the students went to the Hong Kong Science
Museum to experience interactive science learning.

S5 students went to the Univerisity of Hong Kong to learn more about
university education, programmes, admission requirements, and opportunities
for self-enhancement. This visit was organized by the Careers Guidance
Team. The objectives were to encourage students to aspire for excellence
and to enable students to set goals for their study and development.

For
S6 and S7 students went to the Leighton
Hill Community Hall
for the "Formation Day: Unwrapping the Gifts of Life"
organized the RMEC. The objectives were to encourage students reflect
on the values of respect for self and others, commitment and perseverance.
