Meet youngsters from different parts of the world and experience dormitory life as a group in a boarding school.

 

Possibility of meeting & sharing experience with counterparts from St Paul’s Convent School, St. Joseph’s College, etc.

 

Weekend excursions will cover EuroDisney as well as the capital : the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum visit,  River Seine boat tour, walking & shopping around major monuments

Four days’

Twinning Programme

(19th to 22nd July) at CHIJ Secondary, Toa Payoh, during which students experience school life in Singapore through participating in lessons and school activities.

 

Background

As a twinning programme with MSS, ten CHIJ students joined S3 & S4 classes here as exchange students from 23rd to 27th November 2009. The programme proved to be a success for both schools and the trip in July 2010 has been organized at the request of students who found the experience rewarding.  Please refer to our website for photos and student reflections on the programme.

 

Apart from being

exchange students at CHIJ, participants will enjoy two days’ Other Learning Experiences aimed at providing them exposure to a different culture and broadening their horizons while having fun together. The itinerary includes Visits to Science Centre,

Urban Planning Bureau City Gallery,

National Museum,

Newater Plant and

National Library;

Sightseeing and Excursions to

Chinatown, Little India, Orchard Road, Night Safari, Lau Pa Sat Food Market, Mount Faber,

Sentosa,

Floriculture Park and

Universal Studios Singapore

Preparation for NSS English Language modules: drama, presentation skills, creative writing,   and debating skills
